Celebrating our history with the 9th Arpa Film Festival poster
2006 – The festival was held at the newly restored, historic Egyptian Theatre in Hollywood. For three days, 31 films were screened from 13 countries, including the USA, Armenia, Iran, Israel, Jamaica, Iraq, Turkey, Greece, South Africa, United Kingdom, Canada, Lebanon, and the Netherlands.
Director-producer J. Michael Hagopian received the Lifetime Achievement Award and the Armin T. Wegner Award for his documentary film trilogy, The Witnesses.
