Award Winners 2019 Arpa International Film Festival
The Festival was very proud to have presented its prestigious Armin T. Wegner Humanitarian Award to directors Mimi Malayan and Arthur Muradyan for their film THE STATELESS DIPLOMAT, the story of Diana Agabeg Apcar, a 19th century Armenian writer living in Japan, becoming the de facto ambassador of a lost nation, the First Republic of Armenia.

Best Feature Film Award Winner: COMING HOME, produced by Makar Zaporozhskiy & Anna Gasparyan, directed by Daria Shumakova

The 22nd annual Arpa International Film Festival (Arpa IFF), one of Hollywood’s longest running independent film festivals, taking place at the historic Hollywood Post 43 Legion Theater from November 8 to 10, 2019. This year’s festival will once again highlight a diverse range of 33 films from 13 countries that explore themes such as Armenian history, immigration, family dynamics, environmentalism, music, art, and LGBTQ issues.
