Synopsis:
Like a lot of industries, the Covid-19 pandemic paralyzed Hollywood. But with a huge shortage of PPE supplies for frontline workers, unemployed costume designers stepped up to the plate — and to their sewing machines. “Masked” tells the story of how a crew of Hollywood costume designers put their craft, skill and care into pulling together a large-scale manufacture of cloth masks with all-volunteer labor against mounting odds.
