Logline: 2087. Vera and Roberta are two “Abjurants”, meaning women who refused to adhere to the Eugenics Programme imposed by the Government and who have been consequently confined to an unknown location and used as test subjects. Their only purpose in life is recalling to mind their lovers’ facets.
Synopsis: 2087. The Government of the Confederation of the Autonomous States of Eurasia adopted a Eugenics Programme, titled “EUGENE 51”, aiming to create “hyper-positive” beings. Vera and Roberta are two “irreversible Abjurants”, women considered suitable to the programme who have however renounced it because they are in love with two “negative subjects” from whom they have been separated. Confined in a booth in an unknown location, they spend their days hoping to recall the memory of their lovers’ faces.
